June 2010 : International symposium on the study of relational practices : "Identité, altérité et réciprocité : articulation au coeur des actions d'accompagnement et de formation" (Identity, alterity and reciprocity, and their interaction at the heart of support and training initiatives): at the Université du Québec à Rimouski (9 -11 juin) in collaboration with Fernando Pessoa University (Porto) and Point d'Appui-IAA/UFP (Paris)
The common thread which unites the contributors invited to participate in this forum on research/adult-learning is their dedication to accompanying the unfolding of human potential within group environments. This symposium offered a fresh look at ways to approach the different dimensions of our being in the world – identity, alterity, reciprocity – without separating them and confusing them with one another. It participated in the endeavour to attune these three dimensions that are essential to the art of ‘walking together’ and that require real skills on the path to self, on the path towards the other and in the world.
